The independently owned, 4 star London Bridge Hotel, which opened in Autumn 1998, is in an ideal location on the edge of the City of London. The hotel site has a heritage, which dates back to Roman Britain when the area was already at the centre of links with Europe both in commerce and communications. Significant archaeological findings unearthed during redevelopment are now with the Museum of London. The site was most recently a former telephone exchange and its 1915 fa?ade has been restored as a local landmark for the community.
